FLYTTE A fridge is heavy, awkward and easy to damage if it is laid flat or dragged. FLYTTE books a team in Hamilton to move it upright on an appliance trolley, strap it in the truck and carry it to where it will live. Enter the two addresses and see your price straight away.
How booking works in Hamilton
FLYTTE works with local moving teams in Hamilton, so most jobs can be booked for the next available day, sometimes the same day. Pick a time on the calendar and see the full price before you pay a small deposit.
The rest is paid on the day once the job is done.
Getting the fridge ready
Empty it, take out loose shelves and drawers, and defrost the freezer the day before so it does not leak in the truck. Disconnect any water line for an ice maker; the crew moves the fridge but does not do plumbing.
Once it is in place, follow the maker's advice on how long to wait before switching it on. Many suggest a few hours if it has been tilted.
